The elongated Tetrahedron is a geometric realization of form. It is three sides of equal shape with a triangular base. The tetrahedron is God’s first shape and it represents the YHVH nature of reality. This sculptures shape represents the attempt to access the heavens, thus its’ elongated quality. |

Quartz Point Detail

In this frame we see the triangulation of tiger’s eye cabochons around a quartz crystal. I have always seen tiger’s eye as a spiritual warrior’s stone. In effect, this is the strength and courage it takes to walk the path of service. The quartz point is resting on a layer of sodalite, which resonates with the higher mind. |

In this frame we see copper shavings and then a layer of black tourmaline surrounding a large quartz point that is directed towards the base of the sculpture. Swirling around the crystal is a fine aluminum/ copper powder. Below is more copper shavings and copper powder detail work. Inside the copper powder are 3 DT quartz crystals. The corners have been shaped to create 3 more sides, thus technically making this a heptagon. This sculpture invokes deep thought into the transformation of the tetrahedron to the heptogon and the relationship of 4 to 7. |
