Obelisk of Sacred Geometric Order
|
Completed on 9.28.2010 / 4 Skywalker It has been almost two years since I have set out to make an
orgonite sculpture of this magnitude. My
life is very busy these days with a little toddler running around, but I was
able to find some time on a special day shortly before the fall equinox to cast
the body of a pentagonal obelisk. Before
I even set out to make this obelisk, I had been reflecting on the beauty and
magic of basic geometric forms, and wanted to somehow
The mold came along rather easily and after it was finished
I started preparing for the massive pour that was to come. I pulled out 13 double terminated Quartz
crystals to charge up in the sun while I continued preparing. I also made a very wide torodial mobius coil
for a dt Lemurian that I had. Once all
the preparations where completed. I meditated
and held all the crystals that where going to power this obelisk. To me, it is necessary to put intention into my
work so I spent time giving the crystals a program to run based on love and the
image of the Sun. I also thought
The cast went extremely well. I did the entire all in one pour. It came out to be about 3.5 gallons of
resin. Once it was ready to cure, I
hooked up the 15 hertz frequency generator to it and let it run. Then I sat down and returned to meditating. While it was curing many interesting
synchronicities started happening and continued for days. The next day I worked on making a proper
capstone. I laboriously crafted 5 seed
of life disks that got a labradorite “stain-glass window” treatment. They surround an apophyllite cluster. The base of the capstone is guarded with opal
while everything is resting on a bed of more labradorite and dt quartz.
I spent the next 11 days doing finishing work when I could find time. I also fasted for 8 days overlapping the equinox and full moon. Now, 13 days after the first pour, the obelisk is finished. I am very pleased with it and am amazed at how smoothly all of the different aspects of it came together. The entire process was a relaxing and joyful meditation. |

This obelisks height is 27.5”, and 7” in width. Each side is 4.5” wide. The mobius coil connects to a 1/8th” audio jack. |

On each side of the Obelisk is a seed of life disk that is filled in with opal chips. Above each disk is are Kyanite cabochons and below are polished pieces of rhodochrosite. Spiraling around the obelisk making a staircase are fine pieces of Australian opal. |
