Ascension Obelisk
Making in orgone obelisk is an exercise in thoughtful
construction as well as a meditation in energy engineering. The mold has to be made completely from
scratch and constructed with durable material (I prefer wood). It also needs to be water tight. For this obelisk I put a lot of thought into
how it should be designed; what crystals it should have, where they should be
placed, how it should all look when it is finished. Like the Bolontiku Obelisk before this, I
decided on a chakra theme. This time I
used one beautiful cathedral quartz crystal to active 7 different chakra stones. The chakra crystals are placed above the
quartz point ascending up the obelisk. Their energies all blend together at the
capstone with a small quartz cluster.
The cluster helps to radiate out the aligned chakra energies of the
obelisk. I used primarily steel shavings
in this obelisk with some metal powders.
After it was poured and beginning to cure, I took it out on the lawn and placed it inside my 40” pyramid. I sat there and meditated with it, focusing on the idea of ascension and enlightenment. What is enlightenment? What does that feel like? I opened up my mind and heart to the answers for these questions. The Ascension Obelisk is for harmonizing the evolutionary energies in all of us so that we can discover the answers to these most important questions. I left it there to cure for 3 days and then I began the finishing work.
On each side of the obelisk there is an “ascension cross” made out of Lepidolite with Moonstone and Selenite with Labradorite. These stylized crosses are placed over the Aventurine/heart chakra area.
A week later it was finished, just in time for our show in Portland. That is where these photos where taken. Already it has had an effect on everyone here. Like most pieces of orgone , it takes a while to settle into a place, so I’m still getting a full read on it. I should have more to say about it later.
